Gail, so delightfully generous, emanated a warmth that could rival the Newfoundland sun on my memorable introduction to the Rock with her and Uncle Em. Laughter echoed around her, mirroring her effervescent spirit and kind heart. She had an inherent knack for finding joy in just about anything - a contagious enthusiasm that Emerson clearly adored. Everyone was so welcome in her home to come and stay, share a meal or many! Meals and drives were entertaining as they edited one another’s stories with humour and good-natured debate. Being part of their shared mirth was indeed a privilege! Her absence leaves behind ripples that still echo with laughter and the warmth from shared experiences. She is very much missed.
