Gail, so delightfully generous, emanated a warmth that could rival the Newfoundland sun on my memorable introduction to the Rock with her and Uncle Em. Laughter echoed around her, mirroring her effervescent spirit and kind heart. She had an inherent knack for finding joy in just about anything - a contagious enthusiasm that Emerson clearly adored. Everyone was so welcome in her home to come and stay, share a meal or many! Meals and drives were entertaining as they edited one another’s stories with humour and good-natured debate. Being part of their shared mirth was indeed a privilege! Her absence leaves behind ripples that still echo with laughter and the warmth from shared experiences. She is very much missed.

To Deb and family,
Your Mum was a beautiful and genuine person. Not only did she have a fondness of good books, she also had an exceptional taste in great music - she too, was very fond of fine cusine...
We had many wonderful meals with family and friends at the Hall household. No matter what the circumstance - you always felt welcome!
A generous spirit, who's warmth and love could be felt the moment you were in her company! She was a great friend and remarkable person...
All the best to the family, so sorry for your loss,
Ian

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I was Gail's rheumatologist for many years and she shared news of her family with each visit. The obituary beautifully captured her love for her family and the twinkle in her eye. Even when times were tough she always managed to find a smile and a laugh. She will be deeply missed but what a wonderful legacy she left through all of you who will keep her memory alive.

Gail was a wonderful lady who is greatly missed. The beautiful words in her obituary perfectly reflect the woman we knew in her later years. May you take comfort in knowing she was proud of her family. Our family became close to her and Emerson because they treated us so kindly. We remember them both with fondness.

Gail was an outstanding human being. I did not have the opportunity to meet her many times in person but her testament are her children who are the most kind, generous and loving people.
She is united with Emerson now.
Our sorrow for the family.

We are sorry about your great loss Stacy, Deb, Scott, Steve and Kenna. We fondly remember Aunt Gail as a warm and friendly person who had many beautiful memories to share with each of us, about her family, of whom she was truly proud of. When we travelled to the coast to visit, she made the greatest effort to show us the best places to dine and she was also a fabulous cook! We enjoyed every mouth-watering meal she served us. She was loving, forgiving and strong. She is admired for her life-long accomplishments and her strength. Her warmth and laughter will always be remembered. She holds a special place in our hearts. We hope you find peace and comfort sharing your favourite memories with family and friends. All our love, Shelley Wright, Brian Durkin, Megan and Matthew.

Your mother was so full of love and life. From the moment I met her she was "Mum", always welcoming, with open arms. I will miss our visits, chats and hugs.
Together with your father she raised an amazing trio of kids. You are all just like her, kind, giving, caring and strong. She was so very proud of all of you.
I am so sorry for your loss but at the same time take comfort in knowing that she is with Dad now and we all know there is no other place she would rather be.
Love to you and your families, Krista xo

Stacey, Deb, Scott...your mom was a very special lady...in the truest sense of the word. She appreciated beautiful music, was a wonderful cook and decorator (who could forget that beautiful blue sofa! ), and had a way of making a person feel so welcome. I spent a lot of time during my teenage years at your home, and I have very fond memories of family dinners, Xmas gatherings, and summer BBQs. I’ll also never forget when Stacey and I joined Gail and Emerson in Florida for a beach vacation. Gail and I enjoyed a nice fried clam dinner and walks on the beach while Stacey and Emerson suffered through a bout of food poisoning, or reaction to refried beans...we could never agree on which it was! When I think of Gail, and your dad, it brings a smile to my face, good memories. With love an hugs....
