I was just finally reading some obituaries and I was shocked to read Iona's. I enjoyed the 13 years living beside her very much so. She definitely was an independent lady and wanted to make sure everybody knew that. Iona would often come over if we had a little pit fire going and my grandson Jeremiah would be very excited to give Iona a call and ask her if she'd like to come over and she would always say I'll bring the marshmallows and Jeremiah would get right excited over it. She was a wonderful person and I know from her stories she worked very hard most of her life. It was easy to tell she would do anything for anybody if she could.
