I'm still in disbelief and shock of the passing of my Aunt Michele. It's been over 50 years since you came into our lives. I know how much Of a fight you gave. So rest Auntie. You were such a wonderful influence in my life. I will miss being in touch with you as much as we were in person and on social media. Our next get together was to be with You, Wendy and Larry to play music and enjoy cabbage rolls. I will always remember how many times you visited me in hospital with my asthma when I was younger and seeing you and Aunt Nancy while I recovered in ICU. All the wonderful creative gifts you gave me at Christmas and Birthdays. I will never forget all the support you gave my Mom, your sister in law when mom was going through tough times. You always knew the right things to say. Both your folks have you now. God Bless you Michele. You are with Awesome company.

I would like to pay tribute to my Aunt Michele.
Michele was a very loving aunt to myself and my three sisters Kim, Bonnie ,and Judy. She was our “cool” Aunt who always had an interesting and funny tale to tell. Aunt Michele had many talents from story telling to photography and oh how she loved her ukulele. I have many fond memories of her. You could always talk to her about anything and count on her listening without judgement or criticism. We will miss her dearly! Love from your niece Wendy

Paul and I express condolences to family and friends of Michele. Michele gifted us with an infectious laugh and a wicked sense of humour. Last time I saw her she played the ukulele while Lynn Jones sang. (I lipsang). Even when sick Michele decided it was a good time have lunch followef by a singalong. Special warm wishes to Marilyn. Today is International Women's Day. I still have the brooch Michele gave me 20 or so years ago to mark March 8th. Happy International Women's Day sister.

Q: What will you miss most about Michele?
A: Michele was an avid social media person and she always sent me messages videos or pictures to uplift my day and which I will deeply miss receiving. She was always an upbeat person and she could always make me smile and laugh. I will miss her smile and beautiful face as she always had a beautiful smile on her face. I will never forget my visits out to Halifax and surrounding areas with Michele She was a lot of fun and man good she take beautiful pictures Miss you cousin. I am so sorry to hear this news, however, I am also relieved that you are no longer in the hospital. Last we spoke you told me how lonesome it was to be there all this time. I am so happy that I was able to share a conversation with you not so long ago this year, I will keep that with me. I will miss all of your messages on Instagram, and wish I’d sent more back. I am so sorry to hear of Michele's death. She was always like family to me and she was a favorite cousin to my late husband Kent. Michele had the best sense of humor and was always cheerful even as she struggled. I had some wonderful visits and awesome conversations with her.
Michele was fabulous photographer and captured so many beautiful pictures whenever she hopped in the car to explore this beautiful part of the country.

I worked briefly with Michele at Stats Can. I had also worked with her way back in the 70's at Canada Post, that is where we met. It was her humor that I was drawn to, always with a funny remark or a joke. We rekindled our friendship online, in recent years. Our mutual friendship/loss of our friend Alan had us in contact very frequently. Hopefully they have met up and are having a good time together. She was an animal lover and we also had that in common. I will miss the msgs from her, usually a joke or a funny picture. My condolences to all who will miss her.

So sorry to hear of Michele's passing. I knew her when my parents were living at the Gladys Manning and got to know her.
