I was sad to hear of Bobbys' passing. I had a good chat and a few laughs with him a while back while we were both at the hospital for appointments. I have fond memories of the crazy things we all got up to when I was at Edgehill and he was at KCS. He was always a good friend and when I moved back to Windsor I enjoyed our chance meetings either at parties or at Stevens and Yeatons where I bought most of my vehicles. He had a wonderful youthful presence and was always fun to be around.
I am very sorry for your loss and hope that in time the good memories will fill the large void his passing has left. Esther Mosher

To all of Bobby's family and friends, we offer our sincere condolence. Every memory we have of Bobby is a positive one. As a young boy, the first was convincing my mother to buy a custom-printed t-shirt, that Bobby picked out for me, from Jeans and Joggers. The memories continued as I watched Bobby play senior hockey, then buying my first new car. Bobby even arranged for my wife and me to have a beautiful new vehicle to drive for our honeymoon at no cost to us. For the years that followed there were too many fun times and conversations to mention. Bobby, you will be missed!

We used to love playing in the Auto Trader Golf tournaments. The tournament wouldn’t be till September but Bob would say in May, don’t forget to get our team registered Maniac. Cousin Jeff Boyd, John Leopold and 2-4 Gary Tumblin. Playing golf (shoes untied)in PEI with Bob, Josh and the crew was a blast. With a Heavy Heart and tears in my eyes I provide my Deepest Condolances to the Dill Family and to Bobby's many friends.
Many moons have passed since my last acquaintance with Bobby, Joey, Eunice, JoAnne, Betty and young Josh and let us not forget Gunn Smith.
I have nothing but very fond memories growing up with the young Robert Douglas Dill aka Bobby.
I can honesty say Bobby was the only species in captivity and I use the term captivity with loose generosity.
Bobby was my fun loving friend. As teens growing up Bobby surely provided plenty of highly spirited enthusiastic entertainment. The most popular guy and gifted athelete in the Town of Windsor if not in all of NS.
His dynamic personality and the good looks of a young Bert Reynolds with Sally Fields beside his side.
Bobby's unique personality will never be replaced and he surely lived the part in the 1977 movie " Smokie and the Bandit".
Bless your Soul Bobby Dill and may you Rest in Peace.
The good Lord has your back.
And just perhaps we meet up and do it all over again with 2 degrees of seperation.
God Bless,
Brian V Wilson,

Niecie, JoAnne, Janet, MaryAnn, Josh ,Farrah & your respective families. My deepest sympathy.
I first connected with Bob in Woodstock, NB(70's) when he played hockey in Florenceville. We re-connected when I moved to Windsor, NS(80's). There were so many sporting ventures, ball hockey trips to other provinces & US. Golf charities, hunting and of course the infamous Camp were we thoroughly enjoyed Bob's companionship. This recent Fall myself, Roddie, Roger and Bob completed our last Golf Trip. It seemed like old times, same refreshments, jokes, discussing all sports and especially this time the current BlueBay's but most of all the old camaraderie. Only change was our ages ((+40yrs).
I could go on but I would like to state besides Bob being a " CONSUMMATE ATHLETE", I respected him more for being a person who at anytime would go out of his way to assist in time of need for anyone whether friend or not. He was a Great Man a true friend.
I will miss him and our coffee talks.
God Bless You Bob.

Josh & Farrah,
I am truly sorry to you guys for this loss. I had lost touch with Bobby the past several years, but he always continued to enter my thoughts as time passed. There are so many memories---Bantam A, KES, Stephens & Yeaton, the camp. Bobby and my experiences with him have had such an outsized impact on shaping who I am today. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear of Bobby's passing, my condolences to all of his family. He surly was one of a kind and the best hockey player I ever played with at KCS.He lived in residence the year I played with him and on occasion he would come to my room and wake me up and say come on Frank were going to a party, so we would sneak out of the school and away we went, he was the life of the party. He will definitely be missed, gone way too soon.

I send my sincere condolence to the Dill family. I played high school hockey against Bobby in the 60's. Bobby was a great hockey player. I later watched him play at Acadia. I then met up with him when we both worked in the automobile industry. Bobby was a very engaging person and I always enjoyed our conversations .May your memories bring you some peace and comfort at this time.

Well not sure what to say at this stage of game? Boston Bruins had Bobby Orr, Chicago Black Hawks had Bobby Hull, Bobby's team by the way, not sure yet how that ever come about? However fans and family here, Cape Breton, NL, NB and hockey rinks beyond had "Bobby Dill" to cheer upon for a crucial goal. Condolences to all of Bobby's family.

Sending condolences to the entire Dill family. Bobby was certainly one of a kind. An elite athlete in whatever sport he participated in and respected by teammates and opposition. A great salesman in autos and sport. Bob was one of Windsor's best. So glad I took the opportunity to see Bob a couple of months ago and catch up on the past few years. He will be missed and never forgotten. RIP my friend I will never forget your kindness and the adventures we had from playing over 150 Plus holes at Avon Valley for the Cancer society to the day we traveled daylight to Dark playing golf at 18 courses around the province or the golf trips and who can forget the many Windsor Schooner road trips. May God give you eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the great pain of your passing you have deserved it.

We are truly saddened to learn of Bobby’s passing. He was a part of both of our younger years and we always considered him a friend. Stephen went to KCS with Bobby and I think the first time that I met him was right after I got my drivers license and took my father’s truck to town. I don’t remember how all of that came about but he dated a lot of my friends and we remained connected that way. I have a funny picture of him squeezing into my trousers after a Cadet Ball because he didn’t want to wear his kilt anymore. Always full of fun with a big smile for everyone! Rest In Peace dear friend and sincere sympathy to all he leaves behind to mourn his loss.
