Where to start, Jeff was a one of a kind individual. His personality was infectious, anyone who met him would agree. Jeff was the guy that you wanted in your corner, by your side, have a drink with cause it was always a good time. If Jeff was around you knew you were in for an adventure of some sort. I’ll miss the endless nights of our basket ball tournaments, we would go for hours and hours and then some. I’m sad will never have another dance party but ill never forget those crazy nights. I hope to be more carefree like you were, you really lived life to the fullest and I always admired that. You were the brother in law one hopes for, we shared many moments together just us and I’ll never forget a single one. If I was down you would find a way to cheer me up, cause you actually cared and were that person always. I always felt so safe with you as you had that protective big brother trait. There was never a dull moment when in your presence, such a kind hearted warm uplifting individual. You will forever be sorely missed, we may have lost an irreplaceable soul that lit up this world but Heaven gained another Angel. Rest in peace my dear brother. Till we meet again Xo

Me and Jeff quickly formed a special bond. He would reach out to me constantly and we would re assure each other that we had each other’s back until the end. Looking back I don’t know why we would talk in such a manner, but it was a reflection of the brotherhood we had formed with one another. He was about ten years older than me, yet he never treated me like I was anything less than his equal. He would openly tell people how much he cared for me, and how much he loved me, and I felt the exact same way about him. The last text he sent me was “I love you Jordy, I can’t wait for you to come visit me in my new city, I love you for life no matter what cuz!” We shared many memorable times with each other over the span of 8 years, and I always knew I was in for a good time whenever I heard he was coming to town. He TRULY cared for me, and I will forever try and keep his legacy alive. I have many exuberant plans in this life, and he was always one of the only people who actually believed in me. I can not truly come to terms with his transition into the next life just yet. But, I know that wherever he is, he has found peace. I love you Jeff. Fly High Brother. I will do everything I told you I was going to do, and I will do it in your honour.
My condolences to the entire Beaton Family. Your brother/son was a special person. He was always the brightest light, in any room in which he entered. He will truly be missed.

Jeff, you will be truly missed. Our sincere condolences to Colette, Ken and Kendra. Our hearts go out to you. Jeff was a part of our family, and our kids lovingly called him Wolfy because of his long hair. The nights that he used to stay at our home, he was woken up by his best buddy Kai, who Jeff adored. He bought him his first Blue Jays hat, and were always hanging out when he was here. There are so many memories of Jeff in our home and with our whole extended family. He lit up every room he entered, and it was impossible to feel anything but happy when Jeff was around. His joy was infectious! He was one of a kind. We will miss him more than you know. RIP Wolfy- until we meet again!! Love The Wilsons

I still remember how Jeff would come to the house usually every Saturday just to see his big cousin Chris and bounce on his bed. Learned to love basketball and when he grew older he collected jerseys and sneakers just like his cousin. You will be missed.

Dear Beaton family,
Though I may have lost touch with Jeff over the years, I only have fond memories of him. He was one of the nicest and funniest people I have ever met. He literally made me laugh every day in high school and we had so many fun times on the basketball team. I am so sorry for your loss, and can’t imagine what you are going through. I just wanted to let you know you raised an amazing young man and I will greatly miss him.
