Me and Jeff quickly formed a special bond. He would reach out to me constantly and we would re assure each other that we had each other’s back until the end. Looking back I don’t know why we would talk in such a manner, but it was a reflection of the brotherhood we had formed with one another. He was about ten years older than me, yet he never treated me like I was anything less than his equal. He would openly tell people how much he cared for me, and how much he loved me, and I felt the exact same way about him. The last text he sent me was “I love you Jordy, I can’t wait for you to come visit me in my new city, I love you for life no matter what cuz!” We shared many memorable times with each other over the span of 8 years, and I always knew I was in for a good time whenever I heard he was coming to town. He TRULY cared for me, and I will forever try and keep his legacy alive. I have many exuberant plans in this life, and he was always one of the only people who actually believed in me. I can not truly come to terms with his transition into the next life just yet. But, I know that wherever he is, he has found peace. I love you Jeff. Fly High Brother. I will do everything I told you I was going to do, and I will do it in your honour.
My condolences to the entire Beaton Family. Your brother/son was a special person. He was always the brightest light, in any room in which he entered. He will truly be missed.
