Was wondering where Garth was last Friday when we had stepfather, Peter Ryan's Celebration of Life. Googled him and now I know. Sincerest condolences from the 8 Wells/Ryan children of New Minas.
Peter & Garth were lifelong buddies, bowling as Apple Kings & Alpines, golfing together and maintaining their friendship from beginning to end.
Garth also kept me (now 59) rich as a kid, paying generously for golf balls while we lived across from Ken-Wo! I also remember him setting Peter up with at least one computer in his years on Aalders Avenue in New Minas after I moved to Ontario.
What an excellent human being he was and always a calming presence for we crazy 8! We'll humoured but very laid back with our noisy, giddy family!
