sending my love to family in hearing of the passing of my Uncle Laurie. I have always thought of him as a fun-loving man. One of the memories I shall never forget is when we were down from Ontario in the summer of 1981. Laurie took us to one of the Forts and while there he wowed our kids and ourselves by taking hold of a flag pole and holding himself with his legs straight out from the pole. Such a strong man. Any time we were down he always had new stories of his experiences in life. I loved him dearly and always wished I had grown up in my home province so I could have known all of my mother Ruth's family better. thinking of you all at this time. Uncle Laurie was blessed to have so many years here and be such a blessing to all who knew him.
