Dear Pam, Janet, and family,
My deepest sympathies to all of you. Bill and I were friends for over 50 years and I will miss him greatly. Forever in my memory is the time we spent together in Montreal and especially our time together in Nova Scotia walking around Wolfville, Dartmouth and Halifax. Every time I look at a painting, hear a piece of classical music, or look at new and old architecture, I think of Bill. He opened my eyes to many things. He helped me see beauty and complexity in a world around me that I didn't even know was there. Bill just kept prodding me in the right direction and never gave up. Above all, he was my friend and for that I am forever grateful.
