To all Gloria’s large family and friends we send our heartfelt sympathy at the loss of such a wonderful and kind Nova Scotian. Our favourite time was annual Thanksgivings when she made it to the cottage at Mack Lake always bringing her amazing pumpkin pies. We loved her. She was the best . So sorry to read of your Mum's passing in this morning's paper. While I did not know her well, I felt I knew her as she was spoken of so fondly in my conversations with Joan Gibson. At one point their daily walks were reduced to the back and forth between their houses. Joan told me how she and Gloria often solved a lot of the world's problems in those walks! They, along with Wilfred Edwards will be missed so very much in Newport Station.
