When you have a friend for 50 years or so ,
And all of a sudden they are gone.
You have to wonder could I have helped more,
And how did things go so wrong.
There are things in life you can’t control,
And nobody can explain.
All you can do is remember your friend,
And try to work through the pain.
I’ve lost another friend today,
And don’t know exactly why.
She did everything they told her to,
And still she had to die.
So until I see Her later on,
We’ll have to except Her fate.
But if Tom’s not there when I arrive,
I’m gonna ask Her for a date.

I am so sorry Adrienne had a shorter life than she deserved. I know she had a lot of hope that she could have surgery and that she would bet this thing. I have great memories of growing up with her and her brothers. We got into our share of trouble but we had fun doing it. Camping adventures with her family, many overnights, walking the pipeline, playing in the swamp and the woods, singing on her porch, playing games in the yard, and essentially having a second family. My twin, Diane, and I regret never going to Nova Scotia to visit. We talked about it but our schedules never meshed. I know you all will miss her dearly and she will be with you in spirit and in everything you do.

I have fond memories of growing up with Adrienne, although she was several years my junior. She was my cousin, but I’m so thankful that relationship blossomed into a friendship as we became adults, and that our children became such good friends as well. She was a beautiful woman inside and out, and had a smile that lit up a room. She will never be forgotten. My sincere condolences to her family.

So sorry to hear about the passing of a sweet loving lady..we first met Adrienne at the ballfield in Morristown when Matthew was playing ball and she used to keep score for the games, lots of laughs and memories were made...later we used to see her at Bargain Harleys and she always had a big smile and time to chat and ask about the family and tell about hers, she loved everyone...thinking of you all in the difficult days ahead and hopefully all those great memories of her will help to ease your pain X0

What a huge loss for our community! I first met Adrienne when she would come into GVM where her mama Iona was a resident. Her love, compassion and spirit were evident to all. She had her mother’s unsinkable spirit but also a very realistic acceptance of the pain of life.
