To Donna and family I would like to offer my sincere condolences on the passing of Mark. I had the privilege of working with Mark for 20+ years at the Tufts Cove Generating Station and remember him as a kind and approachable supervisor that was respected by all that worked with him. We have lost contact over the years but I am sure he will be thoroughly missed by those who were close to him during recent years.

To the Family of Mark Race,
We are so saddened by Mark's passing. Mark and I are first cousins. I understand that My father Tom Taylor was Mark's mom's closest brother. They were close in age and Mark and older brother John are same age as my brother Brian and I. While we have not seen each other in probably 50 years, the formative years memories always hold fast. We four were very close for about 5 years having lived in the same split house on Patterson Ave in Chatham. I recall clearly we all shared getting the measels at about the same time. After the Races moved to Halifax ( whereby Uncle Jack and Aunt Marg had two more children) and we moved to Rodney Ont and then Michigan, we all grew up. Separate but never forgotten. May our Lord Jesus hold Mark in His hands and reward him for being such a good servant to his fellow man. God Bless his family during this time of sorrow.
Sincerely
Greg ( & Jamie) Taylor

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I first met Mark at Point Tupper Power Plant when I was an apprentice operator. Mark was always up beat and liked to play a prank now and then when least expected. We met up again at Tufts Cove Power Plant where we both worked until retirement. Mark was always lay back but professional and a pleasure to work with. Rest in Peace

Donna and Family,
Our heart felt condolences for the loss of Mark. We have many fond memories of our time in Mt Uniacke, and some of those were with you and Mark, and your family, especially the times in our Christian Community of St France Of Assisi.
Donna, we were talking to Claire Richard on Sunday and she lost Donnie on Holy Thursday, I guess it is just where we are in our lives now, and losing ones we love is part of that process.
Donna I am so sorry we have lost contact over the years, I remember our talks when I worked at the Bank in MicMac Mall, and so enjoyed seeing you there. I would have contacted you but wasn't sure where you had moved at that time, and now soo many years have gone by and Mark's passing is so sad.
I know you can't have a service or get closure at this time, but maybe one day soon things will open up and our world will start to heal. You always had a strong faith and some of my cherished memories are during those times together at our church in Mt Uniacke, with Rev Doug officiating.
Donna, maybe someday we could re-connect which would be great. Graham and I live in Bridgewater now, and like the smaller community. We lost our son Craig in 2017, so know how you must be feeling, but your Faith will see you to a time when the pain will still be there, but more tolerable.
Thinking of you, and sending Prayers and Love,
Judy and Graham
