Dear Brenda & Karen: It has been a long time since I saw or talked to your mother Elsie, it may have been close to your first wedding Brenda. Elsie was a wonderful person, I remember her & her mother in your home one night both of you had teen friends over. I also remember Elsie - Mrs. Evans to me, in her jewelry store; always the constant, gracious lady who treated everyone with so much respect. Even though Elsie reached an age seldom reached by anyone else her death is a great loss to everyone who knew her, especially her family & close friends. No matter the age, the loss of a mother leaves a hole in ones heart. Please accept my condolences at the loss of your mother.

Brenda & Karen and families.
This is a sad time for you, but Elsie certainly kicked the ball through the goalposts of life. Such a charming lady, who was always ready to assist others at any time. I remember her in your dad's shop when I purchased our engagement and wedding bands in 1965. Sherry and I have now been married for 55 years.
She always called me Johnnie and she always greeted both Sherry and I with a warm smile and a pleasant chat.
She will be missed not only by you but by a large community of friends.
We will not be able to attend the service as we are away, but I hope to see Karen again some day. It has been nearly 60 years.
Our fondest memories
John and Sherry Swinamer

Hi Brenda, your mother's picture brought back so many fond memories of her here in Riverview and of your participation at St. Paul's. Those were fun days. Remember when I hugged your sister by mistake in the darkened hallway of the Moncton Hospital. I love to tell that story. I enjoyed Elsie during her residence here and now her long journey has ended. She is in good hands. God bless her and you as in my ancestral home of Windsor you celebrate her life.

Brenda,
My Dad and I both wanted to pass on our condolences to you and your family. Your mother was a wonderful lady and my Grandmother, Vivian, spoke so highly of her. They enjoyed each other's company immensely.
I like to think they are up in heaven now playing the best bridge game of their life with a good cup of tea and a tasty biscuit.
