Dear Family of Carole~
Carole was such a special person, and true friend of our family. We spent many cozy winter visits with her around our
kitchen table and just as many summer afternoons chatting, laughing, drinking tea, singing and reminiscing on our veranda. She will be missed, by all who knew her. There was no one like Carole~ as you well know.
Sending Love and Light to you, at this sad time~
Kathy.

Our sincere condolences to the Peterson family. Peggy and I didn't know Carol personally but had heard so much about her from many of the members of the Hockey Heritage Society and her work in the theatre, her book and involvement in many activities in the community. She will be sorely missed. I attempted to attend the funeral today along with several current board members of the WHHS but the church was jammed and overflowing with people standing outside unable to be seated. The crowd was certainly a testament to her legacy!

Ron and Peterson family:
Was truly hoping to make Carol's service this morning but unfortunately I am unable. Carol was an exceptionally hard worker at whatever she took on. Her years at the Windsor Hockey Heritage Museum where we shared many stories should not go unnoticed as she was a valuable member for a number of years. Her work and fundraising with Accidental Actors was beyond what one could expect from from theatre in many places across the world as it was original and well written.
Carol you will be missed dearly. God Bless -- Dan Boyd

Ron, Chip, Tom, Barry and families,
I am so sorry for your loss. Carole was a strong, caring, wife, mother and grandmother. She always made me feel comfortable whenever I dropped in for a visit. Her heart and home was always open to everyone. I will never forget the year she gave me chickens for my birthday. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep them in the city so her and Ron took care of them.
Her heart was so big, kind and loving.
She was loved by all and will be missed by many.

My sincere condolences to the family of Carole Peterson,
I first met Carole in the mid to late 70's when I taught her boys at Falmouth District School. She was a very special lady, giving, caring, hard working and a true "people person". I always enjoyed chatting with her whenever we met. In more recent years I thoroughly enjoyed her plays. She was a talented lady in so many ways. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. You have so many memories to cherish. As so many have said before, she will be missed.
Sending kind thoughts and deepest sympathy,
Debbie (DeWolfe) and Phillip Scott

We cannot find enough adjectives to describe Aunt Carole...the mold has been broken. Never bored, always smiling, always positive, she worked very hard, and happily so, to serve her community, raising funds and support for various charities and those unfortunates within the extended community. Perhaps the greatest legacy she has left behind is the three sons she raised: 'Chip', Tom and Barry, who are the most delightful, kind and respected 'boys' that any mother could ever hope to take credit for. I know you boys are broken-hearted, as are so many others. God bless you and lean on the warm and happy memories over the years to sustain you through the hard days ahead.
