Mom talked to Erma not long ago. We were remembering the time I (Ann) soaked she and Austin when I aciddentally turned the rowboat stern onto a wave, when visiting Dad ( Don) and Mom, in Martins River. Oh my, it has been a funny memory, brought up sometime during the conversation. Such a great sport though. I know we are never ready no matter the age for a Mom to go. May all your happy memories and her strong faith uplift you all, now and in the many days & years to come. God Bless

Shirley and Brian, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. John and I were remembering the times we spent in Hantsport with our Mom (Marguerite) & Dad with your Mom & Dad and Aunt Florence. Also remember the July 1 family gathering and if I remember it was a double celebration of your parent’s anniversary and maybe Aunt Florence’s birthday. I am not sure if you remember that your Mom hosted a wedding shower for at your home. It was so special to have family together. I still have a vase in our livingroom that I bought from your parent’s store before I got married. Always remember how close Mom was with your Dad. Our thoughts are with you at this time.. Brian,Shirley,Kathy and Sue....my condolences to you all in regards to Erma. She was such a wonderful and sweet person all the years I knew her. I remember her working at the store, seeing her around town and at church when growing up. She was always pleasant, talkative and never seemed to change or age, we all did but she never seemed to ....
Being away so long and not seeing her very often since moving away years ago, it surprised me last week when I saw her at the hospital how she instantly knew me and its likely been 10 yrs since she last me...sharp as a tack....she had a long life that will allow you to share many stories and memories to remember her by,see will be missed...Thinking of you all at this sad time...
