During our lifetime we meet special people who, when they are so quickly taken from us, we wish we could have just one more inspiring conversation. To me, Arthur is that person. I have fond memories of our chats at Moe's Place, the aisles of Superstore or wherever our paths might have crossed. Such a wonderful person.

This is a very sad news to hear, Mr. Mumford, as he was to me, was my Architectural Drafting instructor from 1986-88. He was the kindest person and my favorite teacher I ever had. He had the patients to explain things over and over till you understood it. He will and is sadly missed. Even years after his retirement, he never forgot my name or my wife (then girlfriend) which always impressed me. I always made a point to say hi when ever I saw him.

I only knew Art for 38 years but I wish I had known him a lot longer - what a nice man ! I had the pleasure of being his Family Physician until I retired in 2015. I was so impressed by his love of family, his kindness towards others, his multiple talents, his commitment to fitness and taking care of himself and his commitment to his teaching career and to his community. Dear June & family-
We were sorry to hear of Art's passing. We didn't know Art that well - only through Windsor United Church and would run into him occasionally in conjunction with the "Ceilidh" Fiddlers. We particularly enjoyed his rendition of "Big John MacNeil" It was obviously his favourite.

Mr. Mumford taught me drafting when you still used slide rules. During his class he also taught me life skills that I carried throughout my life. Often I got to see him at MacDonalds and relive the old days. My deepest condolences to his family during this time.
