I worked at the Grace Maternity and IWK Health Centre for many years. I knew Marilyn through work but more importantly, she and my mother were great friends. Marilyn was a generous and kind lady and a very good friend. She will be sorely missed.

Dear Ken and Family
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear sister ;
I remember the first time I met Marilyn it was at a party at Jill's .
I was nervous about meeting the family however Marilyn welcomed me with her open arms a hug and a big smile .That always continued thereafter . I know she will leave a big void in all your hearts .
But I have faith she will still be watching over all of you from heaven every day and still taking care of you Again my deepest sympathy to you all . God Bless You are in my thoughts and Prayers

Marilyn was a second mom to all of the lab staff she worked with at the Grace.She was a wonderful caring person to all of the staff and patients that she came into contact. Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. Marilyn and I worked at Capital Health until she went home to work. There were many stories and laughs exchanged... Marilyn gave me a tree skirt when my daughter Christiana was very young and we still use it today. Her kindness and generosity will me missed as well as her bigger than life smile.

Marilyn and I have been friends since we met at the Grace Maternity Hospital in1985. She was my wonderful friend and we shared many great times together. We would chat on the phone most days, some times for an hour or more. I will miss my Buddy and hold our friendship forever in my heart.

Dear Jill and family: Words are hard to express how I feel about Marilyn's passing. She was a dear and generous friend - it was a blessing to have known her all these years. Her family meant the world to her and she was always ready to share the latest pictures of her grandchildren and great-grandbabies. Even though her health was steadily declining over the past couple of years, she always had a cheery outlook and a ready smile. I know she is at peace now. Dawn
