It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Aunt Eva. I have many fond memories of visiting her on our trips to Nova Scotia. She was a thoughtful, gentle, kind, outgoing soul. RIP Aunt Eva. Till we meet again.

I have known Eva pretty much all my adult life and spent many a weekend with her and Nick at their little cabin on the beach, not to mention some great snowmobiling. I visited Eva this past summer when I took her some quilting remnants as I was clearing out my late mother's house. We sat on her back stoop and watched the birds and chipmunks all afternoon and had a lovely day talking about old times and catching up. She offered me one of her stunning quilts and I regretfully declined as I had too much luggage to take back with me already. I am absolutely heartbroken to lose this dear lady from my life and send my heartfelt condolences to her family.
