Dear Janet and Bruce and Extended families:
Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dad Gerry whom we affectionally knew from Gyros and his work in the community. Gerry was part of our development team and board of directors when we build the Avon Valley Golf course in Falmouth and he came up with a design for the replacement of our second club house after the first one was burned down.
In my recent term as president of the Windsor Gyro club, Gerry was very helpful in guiding me along with my duties. As a member of the local Communities-In-Bloom group, we were happy to recommend him for his master Gardener Life-time Award for the beautiful garden displays he provided year after year at his residence. Both he and your mother Geneva will be sadly missed.

Hi there. Sincere condolences on the loss of your dad. Gerry was a big part of Haliburton Avenue for a big part of my life. That is for sure! Nothing but fond memories. I regret that he didn't get to meet our new puppy! He would have been most excited to meet him, as he has always so enjoyed dogs. I was sorry to not have seen you, Janet and Bruce, after the service. It's a very strange time in our lives as we walk our parents do these final chapters. I hope that you have a peaceful few weeks, filled with fun, fond memories. Nancy delahunt

On behalf of the staff at Northwood Intouch, I wish to express our sadness and condolences with the passing of Gerry. Gerry was a much loved volunteer for so many years! He was always more than happy to help out with community displays, no matter what the event and I had the very good fortune to work along side him and have many great conversations over the last decade. Gerry was extremely organized and always knew exactly how many installations the Rotary had done over the years and how many service calls had been performed based on his trusty spread sheets. We could always count on him to represent us well!
I also had the great privilege to interview both Gerry and Geneva where they were so gracious to have us in their home to talk about what the Northwood service meant to them both. He was proud to show his garden and his great love of his wife.
He will be dearly missed by us all.

It was an honour and a privilege to work with Gerry these past six yeas or more on the Northwood InTouch project of the Windsor Rotary Club. There, he thrived in being able to provide a modest, but vital to those who needed it, service to the community that he had served in so many other ways all of his life. I will also treasure the memories from years in the past as Gerry would bring order from chaos to the Rotary Radio Auction storeroom and insure that things ran as smoothly as possible for customers coming to the Community Centre to pick up their goods.
My condolences to Janet and Bruce, and your families. It's been a rough year and we, especially Rotarians, will all miss Gerry very, very much.

Our sincere condolences to Gerry's family
Gerry was a wonderful and dearly respected friend. I got to know Gerry through Rotary, Church and the Windsor Elms, all of them themes of community service that Gerry was constantly giving back to his community through. Our community will forever be far richer for Gerry's contribution of his loving volunteerism and caring. Gerry just made things happen and left a trail of great accomplishment in his wake.
We will all miss him very much.
Kevin.

My deepest condolences to Gerry's entire family. I have had the privilege of knowing Gerry for the past 20 years. When I began working with Northwood Intouch in 1999, Gerry was one of the first volunteers I met. I knew than he was a very special individual who had a vast knowledge of how the program worked, the volunteers, and more importantly the people in his community who were using the Intouch service. I will greatly miss our conversations each week and sharing our usual laughter. I will think of him often and all of the joy and support he has given us all over the years.

Gerry and Geneva - Summer Sunday’s with Janet and Bruce coming to our cottage on Pigott Lake. Christmas Eve with their visits to Mum & Dad’s annual open house. Mum and Gerry’s ongoing tricks - trying to get the ‘better joke’ on each other. And growing up in the ‘back pew’ at Windsor United, counting on Gerry to get there first each Sunday. Many, many memories. Each a treasure. Thanks for being a good friend to Mum and Dad; Gerry. You’ll be missed by many.

Flashback to 1985: A young BComm grad from Acadia applies to Fundy Gypsum for an accounting vacancy. Gerry, the FGC Works Manager at the time; joins the interview part way through, looks the young grad up and down and comments: “we can’t pay you much - so how little will you work for?”
Thus began my long time relationship with Gerry Raymond. Always told you what he thought; you always knew where ‘you stood’ with Gerry. Great boss!
And a fellow ‘back pew’ resident! You’ll be missed, Gerry.

Such a fine man, husband, father and all around good guy. The town and surrounding areas are going to miss his energy and commitment to all the great causes he championed. Rest In Peace Gerry. We will always remember your sense of humour and twinkle in your eye. Your friendship with Grant and Julie was so valued. Your spot at the back of Windsor United should be retired, like sports jerseys.

To the Families:
We met Gerry during visits with Grace, our niece. We were taken by his kindness and welcoming ways, and of course his knowledge of gardening and art. Know also that we were aware that he took special care of his late wife.
