Obituary of Verna May Ogilvie

Age 88, of Kentville, and formerly of Hantsport, passed away peacefully at Orchard Court nursing home in Kentville on Tuesday, February 19^th, 2019. Born December 23^rd, 1930 in Hantsport, she was a daughter of the late Vernon and Winifred (Brown) Millett.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Aubrey; son, Lynn; sister, Mary Smith; brothers, Orland and James.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Phillips; daughter-in-law, Margot (Muise) Ogilvie; grandson, Christopher Ogilvie; granddaughter Sarah Ogilvie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Riverbank Cemetery, Hantsport. No flowers by request, however, donations in memory of Verna may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada Atlantic Branch, 404-212 Queen St., Fredericton, NB E3B 1A8.
