As I will not be able to attend the Service, Margot, Christopher & Sarah, please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Verna. She was a delight to visit at Tibbits Home in Wilmot, Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Middleton, and Shannex Home in Kentville. Sorry for the family's loss of Verna. My mom, Ruby Smith, shared a room at Tibbitts with Vera for nearly two years. We came to know her well and enjoyed visiting with her when we visited Mom. We enjoyed meeting all of you when you were down from Ottawa a few years ago. Our sincere sympathy.

I grew up on Porters Ave next door to Verna, Aubrey and Lynn. I have many fond memories spread over 20 plus years. Great childhood memories. Still vivid after all these years. Lynn and I would compete for the Lions share of cookie dough left over after Verna had made a batch of cookies. She was a great Neighbor. Sincere condolence to the loved ones she has left behind.

To Verna's family, please accept my sincerest condolences on her passing. I always enjoyed my visits with her both at Tibbett's Home in Wilmot and Shannex in Kentville, the last being just two weeks ago.
