Sending along thoughts and condolences to Garth's family on his recent passing. Our memories of him this past year were mainly at the Hantsport Music Festival and the school Remembrance Day ceremony. In spite of his health condition, he persevered and appeared to enjoy both immensely. The car lot in Hants Border and wonderful display of antique vehicles on Avon Street will be memories for "Hantsportonians" for a long time to come.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Scott family. Garth was such a character and I spent a lot of great times with him. He always had great stories to tell especially when he was at the Atlantic Rental shows. People always looked forward to hearing them even though some people knew them by heart. It was always nice to see our pictures on the wall of the meeting rooms too. He was a true motivator for the Atlantic Rental Association.
When Garth took on the Abmast line he came to the office and asked the owner of the company to blow into his flute that he carried around to play pranks on people He handed it to the owner who proceeded to blow into it and we all know what happened when someone did. The owner's face turned scarlet red and Garth was sure he was going to be let go but on the spot! I still remember him saying that the first thing he sold as an agent was a puppy to one of his customers!
Thank you for the memories Garth. CYA and rest in peace!
Andre Simard and family.

I first came to know Garth when I was secretary for the Hantsport and Area Historical
Society. He was a guest speaker at one meeting when I was taking pictures and
doing a write up for the Hants Journal. I was so enthralled with his presentation
I forgot to take notes. The next day he graciously did a phone interview. From then on
interest in his ventures never waned.
To Sharon and family I extend my heart felt sympathy.. Garth was indeed an exceptional
gentleman. May Heaven's Blessings smile upon you now and in the future.
