Obituary of Leo Patrick Jessop

Age 71, of Falmouth, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII, Halifax. Born in Windsor, he was a son of the late Clarence and Grace (Murphy) Jessop.

Leo loved his family and in his younger years liked to hunt. His one main passion in life was his career. He loved the various jobs that he performed for Heritage Memorials in Windsor for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Sharon Porter; son, Mark (Lynn), Martock; daughter, Tammy Jessop (Mack), Coldbrook; grandchildren, Holly (Darrell), Collin and Byron; great-grandchildren, Erika and Marcus; sisters, Faye and Jan (Rollie); as well as other extended family members.

Besides his parents, Leo was predeceased by an infant son, Jeffrey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). No visitation by request. A private graveside service celebrating Leo’s life will be held at a later date in Centre Falmouth Cemetery, Town Rd., Falmouth. Donations in memory of Leo may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
