Uncle Leo, I am very sad to hear of your passing. Growing up, you always demonstrated nothing but kindness and love towards me. You always had a great story to tell and I looked forward to visiting you while on leave or on a course from the Military. One of my fondest memories from way back is sitting on your lap as a kid of about 10 years old and you allowing me to steer the car on the back roads near your home. That day I will always remember, as well as the kindness you had always shown me. For Sharen, Mark, Tammy, and Grandkids, I am sorry for your loss but know that I have nothing but the greatest love and respect for him. My best to you all

I remember Leo as the Quiet, Gentle giant. He sure did a great job at the cookout grill too.Also, the day Sharon and Leo got married Donnie Sheehy and I had the pleasure to sign as witnesses. An honor for sure. He will be missed.

Such sad news to hear of Leo's passing. He was one of the first people we met when we moved to this beautiful area 37 years ago. Leo was such a nice man, a good neighbour and a hard worker. Leo was like a second Dad to me. I remember plinking on guitar in the kitchen in the winter time. I remember listening to Leo's jokes on the front steps in the summertime. And steering his old black Ford car on Sunday afternoons and listening to the Newfie hour on the radio. Rest is peace, old buddy.

So sorry to hear of Leo’s passing , I had the privledge of working with Leo at Heritage Memorials on the delivery truck and there wasn’t a day went by that it felt like work . We laughed and joked every day and and from time to time his wife Sharon would come with us . He was a family man and always talked of them everyday . He would do anything for you and had the biggest heart that you could ever find . I couldn’t ask for a better person to travel with and work with ,he took pride in his job and his work . To look at Leo you would think he was a giant and someone you didn’t want to mess with but when he started talking he was as kind and soft spoken and everyone would take to him . I will miss you my friend , there will never be another like you .

I have a lot of great memories of Leo my most favourite is when I was a kid and would spend a week at your guys house and Sharon would run me down the road so I could catch Leo in the big truck and he would take me the rest of the way to your guys house and every once in awhile he would give me an old shining rock that was polished up and it could fit in my pocket then on the weekends he would take me fishing and we would got for an ice cream. I will sure miss his hey....get out of there.... then with a laugh and a chuckle he would smile at me, then ask me if I could sing a tune he was my biggest fan,oh and let’s not forget the my favourite question hey Kim mike do you have a boyfriend yet? My answer was always no ( even tho there were times there was).
