To the family of Hazel Steeves, on behalf of the Chignecto Presbyterial (UCW) I would like to offer our condolences to Shayla (I still listen to your CD, passed along by your Mom in the late 90s; very talented and well produced) and to Ian and Bill. Hazel's contributions to our UCW were greatly appreciated and I know she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew her and loved her. It was with sadness that I read of Hazel's passing. Hazel was a hard worker for the Town of Sackville, as well as a strong family woman who adored her children. I did not know her well, but I pass her house every day on the way in to town and often think very fondly of her and her daughter, Shayla, who gave her such joy. My deepest sympathies.

Hello Shayla & family;
I send my love to you and your family. I loved your mom, she was one beautiful woman that had so much affect on my life growing up as a child. I have vivid memories of her while visiting you at your home in Sackville. I remember sitting in your family room playing board games with her and your dad. I remember eating lunch in your kitchen at your built in table which I loved :) So many wonderful memories. I pray that you and your family are doing well and hope that you find peace in knowing that your mom is now in heaven and hearing the angels sing and sitting at the right hand side of Jesus. Wow she finally gets to meet Jesus and be with him and your father again.
