Joan & Myron Sponagle posted a condolence
We have fond memories of Lova when she was with Mark Sponagle for a few years. Our children loved having her around as she played lots of games with them. We camped with Mark & Lova and had them here to our home several times. We visited Lova in her Nursing Home several times when we came east. Will always remember her playing the fiddle and enjoying all the music.

Lova was the first person to meet me the day I took my mother in to see the Dykeland. She was so happy and excited to think Mum might come to the Dykeland and told her how much fun they would have playing music and signing songs. She said when you come remember me I am "Lova from Nova" and she said that every time I saw her. We will all miss her bright smile and her happy nature. She certainly always seemed so at home sitting in her big rocking chair down by the fireplace and big TV off Young park. Please accept my sypathies for your loss.

My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother; She will be greatly missed and I'm so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of when I first really got to know and appreciate your Mother's kindness, sense of humor and her zest for life; her and Donna were working at Star's clothing. Lova enjoyed playing cards and we had many games of rummy when I stayed with Donna & Jim and family in Calgary way back in 1978; What fun we had ! I'm disappointed I won't be able to join you in the celebration of Lova's life on Thursday. I'm offshore and don't crew change until Tuesday. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. An old friend always Maurice (Moe) Sanford

To all of Lova's family, I want to extend my sincerest condolences in the loss of your Mum, Grandmother and to all her caregivers and friends at Dykeland. Lova was a wonderful soul that brought much joy to others! I always enjoyed meeting up with her as myself and others jammers visited the Lodge for a bit of entertainment. We so enjoyed Lova coming up to be part of that entertainment. She was a lady who loved to share her God given talents. It was hard to see her decline but she bravve it all with all the dignity she could manage from what I saw! She so love showing off that stuffed toy with the fiddle to remind her of her her days with the bow! My thoght and prayers are with you in your loss. Sincerely, Christine MacAskill
