Dear Betty, Michael and Joseph, Bruce was a great guy, we have many found memories from of BFD days, he always had a witty comment, and he had the ability to insult someone without them realizing it. We loved the way he could do that. He was also considered a valued customer. Our loving and caring thoughts are with you!

Ross C Conrad posted a condolence
Betty, Michael, Joseph and family....when Paula and I heard that Bruce was ill a few days before he passed, a part of what makes the world right was suddenly wrong, and, knowing that he knew his fate calmed me. In the few years that I knew him, I learned of his kind heart and willingness to accept life's ups and downs which would have allowed him to assist in the family's acceptance of future events. I met Bruce through his commitment to others and Scouting. His friendship, companionship, and constant positive demeanor helped me through tough times, and, his willingness to promote my best qualities aided me in securing a permanent relationship with the love of my life. Therefore, the fact that I have survived his passing seems somewhat unfair, but, knowing Bruce, he would be pleased. He and I shared the hardship of continually changing locations in our quest for life and, as a result, our friendship suffered the fates of distance. I wish I had known of his illness in time to share a few stories and to say good-bye. My health kept me from travel, otherwise I am sure that I may have had more interaction with Michael and Joseph in their early years at a camp or some other event. There was no prouder parent than Bruce and I failed in not giving him those moments. The photograph you chose to share displays a confident and relaxed, in control side of Bruce. I can and will enjoy that mental image each and every time I think of him. Our deepest sympathies for your loss Betty... In these trying times, Michael and Joseph, your Dad's impact on the world has set a high bar for you to better.
