It was with heavy hearts that we received the sad news about Gladys' passing. We had been waiting anxiously every day for news about how she was making out. Over the last six months we had come to know and love Gladys. Her and my mother had become great friends and would spend many hours sitting in the lounge. I called them the "bench buddies". My brothers, sisters and I had lots of laughs and fun with Gladys. She was a wonderful lady, and the Sheehy family will miss her so much. To the family sincere sympathy is extended to you all. Anne, Ellis, Steve, Beth, Mike, Homer, Nan and Sue Sheehy

Our sincere condolences to you on your recent loss. We were so sorry to hear the news about Gladys. Mom and I always stopped to say hi or to have a little chat when we were out for our walks. It will seem so strange not to see her sitting with Anne in the lounge at Haliburton Place. Cherish your memories. Sincerely, Debbie DeWolfe Scott & Minnie DeWolfe

We will miss Gladys on Haliburton place. She was such a quiet easy going person. She and Anne are probably setting on a bench some where else enjoying the sights.

Dear Friends: We are so sorry for your loss. We have known Gladys for many years from our association with Windsor United Church and Haliburton Place. We would see Gladys at social functions at Windsor United and often drive her home after the Sunday Church service. She was one of Nancy's special residents in Haliburton Place. She was a kind, pleasant lady and will be missed. Thinking of you with loving thoughts and sympathy. Sincerely, Peter & Karen Rowlands & Nancy L. Forbes

Dear Pat, Eric and family So sorry we couldn't attend Gladys'funeral yesterday. We were at Lindsay's having Mum's visitation and today we bury our dear mother. Hard to believe the "bench buddies" are buried a day apart. Hopefully in heaven there will be a bench just for the two of them. They both will be missed so much and it won't be the same at Haliburton. Love from all the Sheehy family
