Obituary of Barbara Wendy McKay-White
It is with heavy hearts that we share that after a year and more of health issues, Wendy, of Walton, chose no more medical attention as her body and mind had had enough. At the age of 70, she passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27, 2024 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, with family and loved ones near. Born in Windsor on April 29, 1954 she was a daughter of Barbara (Dill) and the late James McKay.
It was always well known by all who knew Wendy that she preferred animals to people. She had every kind of animal possible through her lifetime and all were very well loved and looked after. We hope now she is able to spoil and look after all the animals in the afterlife as well as reconnect with the love of her life, Bill.
Besides her mother, Wendy is survived by daughters, Rachel Brown (JC) and Ann Marie McKay (Mathew); step-children, Tracey White (Darryl) and Jason White (India); her beloved dog, Moxie; she was nana to grandchildren, Liam, Flora, Jayden, Emmet and Emilee; siblings, Debi McKay, Lynda Veinot (Grant), Pam McKay (John Edgecombe) and Grant McKay (Holly); many , many nieces and nephews as well as, great nieces and nephews
Wendy was predeceased by her father; husband, William “Bill” White and brother, Jimmy McKay
