Obituary of Kevin Paul MacNeil

Age 63, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at home. Kevin was born on November 17, 1960 in Windsor to the late Hector “Ralph” and Florine (Coulombe) MacNeil.

He was an amazing musician and his love for music showed through his family, children and his band “County Line” where he excelled as a lead vocalist and bass player.

Kevin is survived by his children, Garrett (Atara), Matthew (Amanda) and Melissa; sister, Lisa (Mike) Benedict; brother, Mark; his lifelong best friend, Meredith McCulloch; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Kevin was predeceased by brothers, Gary and Bruce; granddaughter, Nitiesha “Teesh” States; niece, Katelynn and nephew, Caleb.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). Kevin will be laid to rest during a private graveside in St. John the Evangelist Parish Cemetery, Wiley Ave., Windsor. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Ardoise Hall, 3 Ardoise School Rd. (corner of Hwy 1), Ardoise on Thursday, June 6 from 4-8 p.m. Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 26331, Toronto Stn. BRM B, ON M7Y 4R1.
