The departure of our dear Kevin, who touched our lives through his contagious sense of humor, warmth and adventurous spirit is indeed a substantial loss. His thoughtful gestures, creative inclinations and handy skills were treasured. As an irreplaceable member of the County Line Band, he lent rhythm to more than just music. May we find comfort in cherishing his persona and unique contributions.

I met Kevin in 1986 in Truro when he was playing in the County Line band. I was mesmerized then by the vocal abilities of the band and loved Kevin's tone. He was super guy. Always up for adventure and friendships meant alot. RIP Kev. You will be missed.

I remember when I was young my dad (Butch Lavers) playing together in bands when they both first started. I think it was sam slick days. They were playing at the gazebo in front of the community center. If the middle of a song kevin inhaled a June bug. He choked..gagged ..spit it it out..and continued on the vocals like nothing happened..lol. I'll miss those days and memories. Rest in peace bro.. rrqBd
