To Jonathan and all of Judy's family that I have heard about over the years yet never met, I send my condolences.
Judy was a devoted Godmother to my son Brent and was especially kind to my three children and, in turn, a dear friend to me.
As an example of her kindness, I recall telling Judy that I had to study for university exams and needed time alone. She encouraged me to come to Halifax, book into a hotel for the weekend to study and let them enjoy having the children for the weekend. Who else would do that? That is why they loved her to this day.
Thank you Judy and may you soar with the angels and rest in peace. Lynn

I remember the 2 times Judy and Doug came to Tucson, Arizona to visit my dad. Judy was always so sweet and kind to my dad when he would come home to Canada for a visit. Judy would offer her home to me any time that I could come for a visit always. We would converse on the phone, but mostly on Facebook. I loved the elder dog posts. I will miss you Judy, love you.

I, like many others, recall Judy very well during those early years. I remember her as a very intelligent individual who always treated her peers with respect and kindness. I never heard anyone speak ill of Judy nor her of anyone in return. I do regret having lost contact with her over the years but trust she was a model adult in life, much like she was in yesteryears.

Sending so much love and hugs to my dearest friend, DawnLee Swinamer and her entire family on the passing of her beautiful Aunt Judy. I had the absolute pleasure getting to grow up with DawnLee and her incredible family. I loved Aunt Judy. She would have us over for sleep overs, pool parties and I even got to stay at her place in Florida. She was the kindest person with a smile that could light up any room.
