Yvette Frizzell

Obituary of Yvette Frizzell

Please share a memory of Yvette to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Joelle Frizzell announces the heartbreaking loss of her vibrant mother, Yvette, daughter of the late Ronald and Marie (Steyer) Frizzell, who welcomed their French beauty into Heaven on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

Lover of decadence and the finer things, Yvette showed her appreciation for a rich cheese and Beaujolais pairing with the perfect pout. She kept everyone focussed as the manager at an optometrist office in Toronto before moving to Nova Scotia in 2004, where she cared for patients at Hants Community Hospital, Windsor, where she was compassionately cared for before succumbing to heart disease.

For almost 62 years, Yvette was the loud little sister of Anne Snow and Alan; she is also survived by nieces and nephews, Michelle, Daniel, Monique and Aaron.

Yvette will be remembered for her big heart and being a tower of strength while always sparkling as bright as the Eiffel Tower…

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at 3:00 p.m., in St. George’s Anglican Church, 465 Sangster Bridge Rd., Upper Falmouth, Rev. Tom Henderson officiating, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Donations in memory of Yvette may be made to a charity of one’s choice or St. George’s Anglican Church, C/O Susan Aylward, 589 Town Rd., Falmouth, NS B0P 1P0. Arrangements for cremation were entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317).
