Yvette was a beautiful woman, I know she loved the finer things because the was always stopping by the deli and getting the best cheese and italian meats. She was always smiling and laughing, her stories were the best. I am fortunate that I had the pleasure of knowing her.

Yvette was a very special woman who always brought the best conversation and knew how to light up the room. Even after our lives physically didn’t cross paths much anymore, she still kept in touch with me and always wanted to be a part of mine as much as she could. Joelle, I had the immense pleasure of working with your Mom for many years at Haliburton Place. We quickly became 'soul sisters' when we discovered that we shared the same birthdate (May 22) even though she was 2 years older, we would enjoy celebrating together. Her smile lit up every room she entered, her stories were magnificent and she always made everyone she worked with and cared for feel special. You were her pride & joy, she bragged about you all the time & loved you fiercely. I am so sorry for your loss, for everyone's loss of this great lady!

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with this wonderful woman at Dykeland Lodge and Haliburton Place.
Always so kind, caring and had a heart as big as all outdoors.
And ALWAYS spoke so lovingly about her daughter, her pride and joy, Joelle.

Joelle the first time I met your mom was at the hospital in the Halburton unit. My dad was sick and he was staying over there and your mom was looking after him and from that day on I’ve been friends with her ever since Yvette will definitely be missed. She was a beautiful soul had a heart of gold and we never did get that trip planned to Jamaica, so so sorry Joelle hugs ❤️

There are no words to describe the feelers here. She was always one of my favourites and I of hers. We shared many moments together over the years, and I always enjoyed helping her around the yard or anything I could do at the time. She was a wonderful woman, and she tried her best. It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to an old friend of 15 years.
She can rest now, and say hi to my dad. Where they can be together in the promise land. Sending peace and love your way, miss you lots Yvette. I’m glad I got to see you recently. And I’ll always hold our conversations at heart.
