Obituary of Dennis Walter Sheehy

It is with heavy hearts that we had to say goodbye to Dennis, of Halifax, on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the age of 43. He was a son, brother, nephew and a great friend.

Dennis was born August 1, 1979 in Saint John, NB.

He is survived by his parents, Vernon and Teresa Sheehy, Mount Denson; sister, Jocelyn Sheehy (Rick Godin), Mount Uniacke; and niece, Paige Godin.

Dennis was predeceased by his birthmother, Sharon (Omar) Sheehy; grandmother, Bertha (Sheehy) Barker; grandfather, Walter Vernon Sheehy; and grandmother, Eunice Omar.

We would like to thank all of Dennis' workers, who took care of him over the years. There have been many and we appreciate all your efforts.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). By request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Mount Denson Community Cemetery.
