Q: What will you never forget about Doreen?
A: Tomato juice and her warmth. I met Doreen around 1989 when I pastored in Windsor. I was always comfortable with her and her husband Richard. They were both very kind to me. They supported me in the work and loved to sing. It wasn’t long after that, I remember that Doreen would start bringing me homemade tomato juice. Honestly, the best I’ve ever had. Her son, Brian and I always touched base as life changed and moved forward. Finally about a year ago Doreen shared her tomato juice recipe with me. I have it in her hand writing. Everytime I have a glass of tomato juice I think of her and it makes me smile. God speed my friend. I hope that one day in heaven we get to share another glass!

David and I are saddened for your loss of a wonderful Mom and friend. David says he remembered her first from the doctor's office. I remember her only from church...she always had a twinkle in the eye as the smile started. I believe Doreen liked to laugh. She (and your Dad) were part of our great memories of living in Hantsport. Our heartfelt condolences to you all. We really enjoyed getting to know your parents and I recall all the warm uplifting stories of them.
