Obituary of Margaret Anne Fletcher

Margaret died on Thursday, March 2, 2023, in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor, at the age of 77. A gentle soul, loved by all, Margaret was a kind and loving mother of two boys. Born on November 21, 1945 she was a daughter of the late George and Anne (Jackson) Phipps, of Brantford, Ontario.

Margaret spent most of her life in Ontario. She was a socially active member of the Legion and enjoyed the local music culture. In her later years, she moved to Nova Scotia to be closer to her son and his family where she enjoyed family visits, outings and her Tim Hortons coffee.

Margaret is survived by her son, Jamie (Shelley); two grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth (Nick) and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Shane; two husbands, Cy Arsenault and Don Fletcher; a sister and two brothers.

Margaret will be remembered for her love of her budgie birds, country music and most importantly, her family. Rest in Peace Mom, you will be missed dearly.

Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation.
