Worst Husband, father, grandfather and brother. A person who only cared about himself and for those who really knew him stayed away.
If there is an afterlife I'm sure he'll do the same.

It was obvious that the two of you were very happy together and that Gary was a loving and caring individual. May the unforgettable memories you shared with Gary bring you comfort. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow.

From the moment we met Gary he treated us like family. Instantly. There wasn’t anything he would not do for us. We were treated like royalty at the cottage, loved hearing his stories, and seeing his wonderful relationship with Carol, seeing her so happy. He will certainly be missed and never forgotten. Carol, we will always be here for you xoxoxo

To Carol and the rest of Gary's family. I met Gary when his Mom was a resident at Dykelandlodge. He was an extremely awesome man. So much humor. He will be missed. Carol, you were the light in life. His eyes would light up everything he talked about you. Don't ever forget your memories. I was shocked to hear of his passing. Keep in touch, Carol. You and Gary treated me with so much respect. Loved you both.

I want to be the first to write about Gary. He and I “went steady” when we were very young teenagers. Life happened, we parted ways, and did our own thing. After being married for 42 years and losing my husband, we met again at a school reunion 4 1/2 years ago. There was instant chemistry. I managed to get him to the altar on August 27 last year - we had our honeymoon at Disneyworld in November (I had never been and he wanted to make sure we went somewhere special for me). Gary was my life and soul for the past 4 years - it will be hard to live without him…telling me I talk too much, and to never feed him salmon again! I miss him so much, but so thankful we had our time together. Some things are meant to be. RIP, my love…xo
