Obituary of Carol Irene Benedict
Age 67, of Three Mile Plains, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, after a short battle with cancer. Born on February 2, 1955 she was a daughter of the late Ronald and Irene (Riley) Edwards.
A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her husband of 47 years, Lynn; daughter, Lori (Marc) and grandchildren, Mackenzie and Chase; sister, Faye Edwards, Windsor; brother, Billy (Kim) Edwards, Newport Station; sisters-in-law, Patricia Dearman, Windsor; Dawn (Curtis) McCulloch, Three Mile Plains; brothers-in-law, Gerald (Debbie) Benedict, Currys Corner; Brian (Vera) Benedict, Currys Corner; as well as special niece, Lauren Edwards, many cousins and many nieces and nephews on the Benedict side.
Carol worked her entire career in the insurance industry in Windsor and Brooklyn until her retirement. She enjoyed her weekly shopping trips with her daughter and the many outings and day trips she would take with her grandchildren, who she adored and was like a second mother to. Family was everything to Carol and she was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses at Valley Regional Hospital for the care they provided during her last few days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Monday, January 2, 2023 in the Three Mile Plains Community Hall, 4474 Hwy 1, Three Mile Plains from 1-3 p.m. Donations in memory of Carol may be made to St. Thomas Anglican Church, c/o 76 Old Halifax Rd.
