Please share a memory of Walter to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Age 82 of Curry’s Corner, Hants Co., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2022, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Rhodes Corner, he was a son of the late Charles and M. Juanita (Falkenham) Falkenham.

Harry began his career in the automotive industry in Bridgewater in the 1950’s. In the 60’s, he made the move into the financial world in the business of insurance. His first love was always in the automotive field, so he found himself in a position with Goodyear Tire by the 1970’s. Eventually moving to Windsor, where he managed Miller Tire for over two decades.

During his 40 plus years living in Windsor, Harry served on town council and as deputy mayor for many of those years. He was a lifetime member of the Windsor Lions Club and many of the local car groups could call Harry an active member. Everybody knew his ’72 Mustang. He somehow always found the time to serve on various boards and volunteer organizations, including 17 years as a CBDC member. No matter where you went in the Windsor area, you could always find someone who knew Harry.

He is survived by loving wife, Brenda (Smith); sister, Susan; brothers-in-law, Randall (Betty Lou) Smith and Barry (Mab) Smith; nieces, Alana and Heidi (Royce); nephew, Barry; great-nephew, Dylan; great-niece, Talor.
