To Megan’s family: I am so saddened to hear of Megan’s passing. After retiring from teaching, I was fortunate to begin substituting at Avon View’s Learning Centre. For ten years, my teaching career was greatly enriched by the students I came to know and love. Megan was one of them. She was so easy to please and her smile lit up the room. She was always ready to pose when I pulled out my camera. Megan was not at all shy! She was willing to participate in all activities and eager to be friends with all, whether in her quiet mode or her excited mode. She was ready. My thoughts are with you. I know how dearly she will be missed.
