Obituary of Kenneth George Richards

Age 78, of St. Croix, sadly passed away as a result of a house fire on Friday, February 25, 2022, just two days after his 78th birthday. Born in Windsor on February 23, 1944, he was a son of the late George and Winnifred (Sanford) Richards. Kenny worked as a masonry labourer for many years and in his down time enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by daughters, Lori (Roger) Dawson and Lesley Richards; son, Tommy Richards; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his children’s mother, Margaret (Caldwell) Richards; several siblings, nieces and nephews. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). At Kenny’s request, there will be no service or burial at this time. Donations in memory of Kenny may be made to 9-Lives Cat Rescue, 330 Town Rd., Falmouth, NS B0P 1L0.
