Dear Alan, I just learned today of your mother's passing. It kind of stopped me in my tracks for a minute to reflect and my memories living next door up back for a few years. Yes her gardens, absolutely the best! But my greatest memory was that massive snowstorm known as "White Juan". We could not move for about 3 days like everyone else. We had run out of something in our fridge and Bernie and Phil bailed us out! With knapsack I made my way through 5-6 feet of snow to their house, welcomed with open arms had great visit, loaded me up with essentials and was I so happy! What a memory. Our sincere condolences and take care.

How I feel bad for not having been able to visit your mother, Allan, especially residing so close to your home. Every time I wanted to go see your mom, something got in the way. But I am so happy to know that now she has rejoined your dad in Heaven where there are no sorrows, no tears. Somehow I envy her. We were so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. I always enjoyed talking to your mom at the bank years ago and more recently when she was getting her hair done. It is such a loss to lose your mom, but it is a comfort to have so many great memories. We were both so lucky to take our mothers on so many trips and share their enjoyment of their adventures.

Allan we are thinking of you and so sorry for your loss! Both you and your Mom were so blessed to Share such a special bond. I know how much you will miss her. But she will never be forgotten. There isn’t a day go by that we don’t mention Trudy and she has been gone 5 years already.
Mike and I were just reminiscing about our Windsor friends the other day and of course you and your mom came to mind. Trudy was very fond of your Mom.
