Mary, Lorne, Les and Phil, I think of our childhood, from carpooling to get to Brownies, who’s house do we go to to hang out? My parents if they were working, or to Lorne and Mary’s on bowling night …to the river swimming ..I remember the time Jeannine decided to try shaving her legs ..the big cut, she decided the story would be that she cut it on a rock swimming in the river. Too the many shenanigans Jeannine and I got into….and there were many…getting ready for the high school dances together, meeting back the Mines Rd with friends that could drive, and overall just being healthy kids finding our way in this world. Jeannine will be missed and I will remember those times fondly as there weren’t many that she was not there with me. Im sure Junior is heaven waiting with open arms and ready to razz her. Thinking of you all. I will stop for a visit again soon.

We grew up on the same road and took the same bus to school for many years, I am sadden she passed away so young. Sorry she did not get to live a long life and enjoy watching her children and pets grow along with her. My sincere condolences to her family.

I was so saddened to read Jeannine's obituary. She was a former student of mine in Grade 3 at Falmouth and I will always remember her sweet smile. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Cherish your many memories. Dear Mary, Lorne & Family; Please know that my heart aches for you all and as mentioned no words can take that away. I loved her too as my daughters best friend Brigette (her chosen sister) and she used to call me Ma which was so touching. Jeannine was always so respectful and kind and always appreciated anything kindness we bestowed her with. Her love for animals I admired so much and her strength through her illness was nothing less than Heroic. There will always be a huge hole in our hearts and we will miss her so much but now she's at peace all her suffering is over. Hold onto your good memories it has been a very long journey get some rest and I pray for peace/comfort for all. My daughter loved her so much and I was so happy she was there with her and you too Mary! If there is anything at all I can do to help you on this very sad journey please don't hesitate I'm here. Her picture is beautiful...
