I am the courier who delivered the VON supplies to Joan for the past couple of years. She always had a big smile for me when I arrived and very often I was greeted with wonderful smells from her kitchen as well.
My condolences to all her family and friends in this difficult time. Although I did not know her well she touched my heart and I will sadly miss her.

Joanie will be very missed, so many memories of running between her house and my Aunt Kaye’s growing up. When I think of Joanie I think of Lilacs, Molasses Cookies, and Christmas Eve visits. My condolences to her family.

Dear Allen and family, We were saddened to read of Joan’s death. The past few years we would take a drive in the fall to visit “Joan Lunn”. Joan was a terrific neighbour to us from the moment we moved next door in 2003. We will miss seeing her in her porch in the summer. She loved seeing the kids come across the lawn for a visit or up to the mailbox. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.
