The passing of another sparker and submariner is indeed very sad.
Although our paths did not cross all that often I really enjoyed it when they did at the SAOC luncheons in Ottawa.
Please accept my condolences for Bob's passing he will be remembered.

Deepest Condolences.
I was fortunate after joining DFAIT in 1990 to have many trips abroad with Bob, always the consummate professional.
He was quick wit, dry and always to the point.
My fondest memories of travel abroad have an intersect with Bob and the ability to bridge work, success and some smiles ..
Smiles For Bob
Miss Ya.
When the times permit, go outdoors, laugh with a child, enjoy a family meal and Cherish the Moment..

We remember all the great time Winnie, Bob, Babe and I had together. I remember the great trips him and I went on to get ceramic supplies. He was one of my true friendships that I had in the service. He will always be in our prayers. Our love to the family - Babe & Marty.

Good Bye and sincere regrets to see of your passing old and cherished friend.
Bob and I worked together in Mill Cove between 1972 and 75.
A better workmate you could not have. Always smiling, always relaxed and always trying to figure out how to fit a silencer on his shotgun for the Canada Geese across from his house in East River.
I met him again when he was preparing to start his new career with the Government Services, during one of my visits to Ottawa. Happy to say, different job, same old Bob.
Winnie, know that those of us who knew and worked with Bob, feel blessed to have done so.
There is a new star in the night sky.

My sincere condolences to Winnie and the family. Bob served in Moscow with Bonnie at the embassy. Both Bob and Winnie were so kind and caring
they were interesting times and made so much easier by having the pleasure of sharing a beer and joke with Bob, he had a way about him that just made us smile. He was a diamond and will be missed

My condolences Winnie on your sad loss. Bob and I served together at the Canadian Delegation to NATO in Brussels and in later years would often run into each other at “Fort” Pearson in Ottawa. Easygoing, unflappable and a very sound Tech. Always enjoyed his naval anecdotes. He was an asset to our Foreign Service.

Lise and I are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I have a lot of fond memories of times I spent with Bob in England when we were together in our submarine course in Dolphin.
