Richard, I am saddened to hear of Elaine’s sudden passing. I worked with her for over 10 years at Colonial Honda and she took great pride in her work. She was the best at what she did, but more importantly I will always be thankful for all her help and assistance while I worked with her in the service department.
I will never forget her laugh (boy she liked a good laugh), her smile, the stories of her most recent trip with you down south (or plans for the next one), or her most recent adventure that you and her shared.
Elaine had a good and kind heart. She will be missed but never forgotten. My prayers are with you. All the best during this difficult time.

We had the pleasure of being long time friends with Elaine enjoying trips abroad ,ATV rides and many wonderful get togethers including the recent celebration of her loving husband Richard's birthday. She was beaming that night for being able to have a meal out with all of us. We will all miss her dearly especially Misty her favorite dog from our Bernese family. I'm sure though she is continuing her walks with our recently passed Gabriel by her side. Till we meet again dear friend.xoxo

To Richard and friends and family of Elaine. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Elaine’s sudden passing. I had the pleasure of working with Elaine for more than three decades. She was intelligent, diligent, and extremely organized, while remaining warm, witty, and always ready for a friendly chat. Over the years I had hundreds of conversations with Elaine about travel, cats (we both had Maine Coon cats), and of course Honda warranty issues! She was the queen of the Honda warranty process. It was organized confusion that she made look easy, and I was told by more than a few Honda Canada staff that she knew more about the system than any other dealership employee in Canada.
Elaine especially loved to talk with me about her annual trips with Richard to Cuba and had a photo of a beach on the wall above her computer. Her head was in her work but her heart was on a beach.
Richard, please accept my deepest sympathy. I can’t imagine your sense of loss. I hope that wherever Elaine is now, it has a beach, a cold drink, some cats, and no computer or warranty files.

Richard and family,
I am beyond sorry to hear of the passing of Elaine! She was truly such a lovely lady inside and out, kind, appreciative and loved life. I was Elaines hairstylist for the past few years and I have always enjoyed our time and conversation over the years weather it be gardening, baking, travelling or talking about family and friends ( especially visiting friends on Toronto) Iam still shocked to hear the news of her passing, but I know she will be watching over her family and friends in this very difficult time! I picture Elaine sitting on a beach somewhere in Cuba where its sunny and beautiful and although it is very hard as it is to say goodbye to her I know she would be at peace there !Rest in piece Elaine you were a beautiful soul and you will never be forgotten!

Sincere condolences to Richard and family. We are lucky to be neighbours with Richard and Elaine and shared many happy times with them. Always enjoyed chatting with Elaine about our flowers and the many animal visitors to our yards over the years. She was so kind and thoughtful, arriving on our doorstep with hot apple pie or chocolate chip cookies (hers were the best!) or her famous “friendship cake”. We will miss her at our summer campfires, shovelling snow together and most of all her special Christmas package faithfully delivered every year on Christmas Eve full of peanut butter balls, ginger snaps, cherry pound cake and more! Elaine was the sweetest, kindest lady, a good friend and a great neighbour and we will miss her very much.
