WAGSTAFF, Helen Marilyn - 72, Aylesford, Kings Co., formerly of Burlington, Kings Co., passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 12, 2012. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Frederick C. and Genevieve L. (Howell) Sweeney.Helen had been employed at Cobi Foods, Berwick, Seyforth Rest Home, Morristown, as a cook at the Driftwood Restaurant, Berwick and at various local farms. She was a member of the Burlington Baptist Church.Surviving are daughters, Janet (Larry) Franceour, Regina, Sask.; Connie Wagstaff, Berwick; Angela (Keith Jr.) Stokes, Morristown; Terri (Joseph Jr.) Gee, Woodville; son, Stephen, Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Andrew, Brittany, Ashley, Lauren, Miranda, Rachel, Emily, Sarah, Amy and Haley; step-grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, Ashley and Emily; step-great-grandchildren, Ezra, Ellie and Riley; sisters, Marion (Myles) Balsor, Margaretsville; Beatrice (the late Alan) Whittier, Somerset; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Frederick A. Wagstaff (2004); son in infancy; sisters, Eleanor (the late Bob) Coleman; Hilda (the late Morris) Ruggles; Shirley (Lorimer) Clem; Freda (Colin) MacDonald; brothers, Robert (Phyllis); Ronald (Gloria) and Kenneth (Linda).Arrangements have been entrusted to Bryce Johnstone of DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (902-538-8317). Visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday evening in the Burlington Baptist Church, 27 Hall Rd., Burlington, where the funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 17. Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating, with burial in the Harbourville Cemetery.
