RILEY, Florence Ellen - 101, of Windsor, Hants Co., passed away peacefully Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Sweets Corner, Hants Co., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Caroline (Cochrane) Baxter.Florence is survived by daughters, Shirley McMahon and Marilyn (Blaine) (Wells) Newcombe; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Vivienne Riley and Sara Riley. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, James William Riley; sons, Francis Eugene and Ernest Harry; grandson, Peter; brothers, Frank (Helen) and Hibbert (Laura).Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (Lohnes-DeMont Funeral Service Ltd.), 419 Albert St., Windsor (902-798-8317). There will be no visitation by request. A private family graveside service will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, at a later date.
